Leisure candidates also require ID
Those undertaking STCW95 requirements should bring:
Either - Seaman's Discharge Book
Or - Passport or Driving License plus a letter of seatime from employer .
Those undertaking STCW95 Medical Care aboard Ship must hold in date Medical First Aid Certificate or existing Medical Care Certificate and bring this with you.
Those undertaking STCW95 Medical Care (Refresher) or Medical Care must hold Proficiency in Medical Care aboard Ship and bring existing relevant certificates with you. Please revise up to date first aid protocols before your course as there is a first aid assessment on the first day .

'extreme' RYA/ISAF OFFSHORE SAFETY COURSE to be held at South Shields Nautical College, to include 3 hour 'environmental' pool session, and 1 hour firefighting school session, encompassing the RYA First Aid Course syllabus and certification.
