Leisure candidates do not require ID
Those undertaking STCW95 requirements should bring:
Either - Seaman's Discharge Book
Or - Passport or Driving License plus a letter from employer endorsing 6 months service at sea.
Those undertaking STCW95 Medical Care aboard Ship must hold in date Medical First Aid Certificate and bring this with you.
Those undertaking STCW95 Medical Care (Refresher) must hold Proficiency in Medical Care aboard Ship and bring existing relevant certificates with you. Please revise up to date first aid protocols before your course as there is a first aid assessment .

RYA/ISAF OFFSHORE SAFETY COURSE to be held at South Shields Nautical College, to include 3 hour 'environmental' pool session, and 1 hour firefighting school session, encompassing the RYA First Aid Course syllabus and certification.

Gear to bring: Clean oilies for pool session, and own lifejacket if possible.
